Current places the data from your telemetered stations into  a relational database at the time and interval you want.  If you use WIN_SW, Current also calculates your gauging station flows.

Many private and public entities have remotely monitored gage stations that report to a base station computer by dumping ASCII data files from the gage stations’ loggers.  To be useful this data must be organized, stored and the actual flows calculated using current ratings and shifts.  That’s what Current does.  It uses the shifts and ratings already in WIN_SW to calculate accurate flow values that are as up the minute as your gage station polling schedule.

Also, you can use Current to monitor the incoming values and even edit them before passing them on to your web page or importing them to WIN_SW for further documenting your station data.

Since everyone doesn’t use the same equipment in the field we well tailor Current to meet your needs on the data import and data export ends should our present configuration not work for you off the shelf.
